Planet is seeking an Onboarding Specialist to manage the end-to-end merchant onboarding process for their gateway and payment platforms. You will coordinate with Sales, Compliance, and external partners, ensuring regulatory compliance and a smooth client experience.

The role requires strong attention to detail, excellent communication, and the ability to handle multiple stakeholders in a fast-paced fintech environment. German language is mandatory, with a hybrid work model in place.

Qualifications

• Experience in onboarding, payments, fintech, or a related operational role.
• Strong understanding of payment gateways and merchant onboarding processes.
• Knowledge of AML/KYC compliance is a plus.
• Highly detail-oriented with strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication skills, with a customer-focused mindset.
• Proficient German language is mandatory.

Responsabilités

• Manage the full onboarding lifecycle for merchants, from application review to go-live.
• Perform technical scrubbing and validation of merchant applications to ensure completeness and accuracy.
• Configure and set up payment gateway solutions in line with client requirements.
• Coordinate with internal teams (Sales, Compliance, Technical Support) and external partners (acquirers, integrators, vendors).
• Ensure all onboarding activities align with regulatory standards and internal policies.
• Monitor onboarding progress against SLAs and proactively resolve any issues or delays.
• Act as the main point of contact for onboarding-related queries, ensuring a smooth and professional client experience.
• Identify opportunities to improve onboarding processes, efficiency, and quality.
