Job summary

Planet Planet is seeking an Onboarding Specialist to manage the end-to-end merchant onboarding process across our gateway and payment platforms. You will coordinate technical setup, validate applications, and ensure accurate, compliant onboarding.

You will collaborate with Sales, Compliance, and Technical Support, monitor progress against SLAs, and serve as the primary contact for onboarding inquiries, delivering a professional client experience.

Qualifications

• Experience in onboarding, payments, fintech, or related operations.
• Understanding of payment gateways and merchant onboarding processes.
• Familiarity with AML/KYC requirements and compliance.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication with a customer-focused mindset.
• Proactive, adaptable, able to work independently or in a team.
• German language is mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Manage the full onboarding lifecycle for merchants from application review to go-live.
• Validate merchant applications for completeness and accuracy.
• Configure and set up payment gateway solutions per client requirements.
• Coordinate with Sales, Compliance, Technical Support and external partners.
• Ensure onboarding activities meet regulatory standards and internal policies.
• Monitor progress against SLAs and resolve issues or delays.
• Act as main contact for onboarding-related queries and ensure a professional client experience.
• Identify opportunities to improve onboarding processes, efficiency, and quality.
