The Opportunity

We are currently looking for an experienced Freight Forwarder / Freight Forwarding Specialist (m/f/d) to join our team in Warsaw, Poland.

In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating international shipments, communicating with customers and logistics partners, and ensuring that freight is transported efficiently, reliably, and in accordance with customer requirements.

What You Will Do

• Coordinate and manage international freight shipments from booking through to final delivery.
• Organize and monitor transportation by air, sea, road, and other relevant modes of transport.
• Communicate with customers, carriers, suppliers, customs brokers, and other logistics partners.
• Prepare and manage shipping documentation, transport orders, and related logistics documents.
• Monitor shipment status and proactively address delays, disruptions, or other operational issues.
• Obtain and compare freight rates and support the negotiation of transportation costs.
• Ensure that shipments are handled efficiently, accurately, and in accordance with customer requirements.
• Coordinate customs-related processes and ensure that all required documentation is available.
• Maintain accurate shipment records and update internal systems.
• Work closely with internal teams across Europe and Asia to ensure smooth end-to-end logistics operations.
• Support the continuous improvement of freight forwarding processes and operational efficiency.
• Prepare reports and provide regular updates on shipment status and performance.

What We’re Looking For

• Professional experience in freight forwarding, logistics, transportation, or a related field.
• A completed vocational qualification in freight forwarding/logistics (e.g. Speditionskaufmann / Freight Forwarding Clerk) or equivalent professional experience.
• Fluent English, Polish, and Mandarin Chinese – all three languages are required.
• Good knowledge of international transportation and freight forwarding processes.
• Experience working with carriers, customers, customs brokers, or logistics service providers.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple shipments and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and a structured, solution-oriented approach.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office and experience with logistics/transportation systems is an advantage.
• Ability to work independently as well as effectively within an international team.
