Job summary

Jingdong Logistics in Warsaw is seeking a Transportation Operations Manager to oversee the movement of goods both domestically and internationally. You will coordinate schedules, monitor progress, and negotiate with carriers to secure cost-effective terms.

You will collaborate with warehousing, procurement and sales, leverage TMS and Excel for planning and reporting, and ensure compliance with regulations. Fluency in English and Polish is required; knowledge of Chinese is a plus.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in transportation operations, logistics, or supply chain management.
• Strong knowledge of domestic and international freight forwarding processes and regulations.
• Ability to negotiate effectively with carriers and manage vendor relationships.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and schedule domestic and international transportation of goods, including FTL, LTL, and parcel shipments.
• Monitor shipments from origin to destination and resolve delays or issues.
• Negotiate freight rates and terms with carriers to ensure cost-effective transport.
• Manage carrier relationships and ensure performance and contract compliance.
• Prepare shipping documents (bills of lading, customs declarations, delivery notes).
• Use TMS and Excel for planning, tracking, and reporting; optimize routes to cut costs.
