Job summary

Hitachi Energy is seeking a Team Lead to drive software development for critical communication systems. You will lead agile teams, coordinate delivery, and ensure high-quality, reliable software across domains.

The role emphasizes mentoring, process improvement, and collaboration with QA, UX, and Embedded SW specialists. Strong backend/frontend, CI/CD, and Linux experience are required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of backend or frontend software development.
• 3+ years of experience as a Team Leader.
• Experience in SW development coordination roles (Product Owner/Scrum Master) is an advantage.
• BSc or MSc in IT from CS/Telecommunication/IT university.

Responsibilities

• Lead SW development team members.
• Coordinate SW development activities across agile teams.
• Manage the release process ensuring on‑time delivery.
• Ensure alignment with project goals and technical requirements.
• Cooperate with Department Leaders, QA, UX and Embedded SW specialists.
• Provide technical mentorship and support skill development.
• Drive continuous improvement in SW development processes and tools.
• Lead adoption of AI in SW development.
• Focus on quality and efficiency in software deliverables.
• Enhance code reviews and enforce coding standards.
