Job summary

Hitachi Energy is seeking an experienced Solution Design Lead to support analysis of new solutions with expert domain and platform architecture. You will partner with architects and business stakeholders to shape end-to-end solution strategies across key platforms, ensuring alignment with business objectives and technology capabilities.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in solution, application, or platform architecture within large enterprise environments.
• Strong business process knowledge in at least two areas: Installed Base Management, Field Service Management, Asset Performance Management, Tools Management, Customer Portal, Sites Management.
• Hands-on experience with Salesforce, SAP S/4HANA, MuleSoft, and cloud-based integrations; strong understanding of integration patterns and API-led architectures.
• Experience leading or influencing technical teams, or deep development background with readiness for solution ownership.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Technical and Enterprise Architects to define and evolve the end-to-end solution and platform strategy.
• Translate complex business demands into fit-for-purpose solution designs and evaluate implications.
• Lead design and option assessment across Salesforce, SAP S/4HANA, MuleSoft, AI-based solutions, and cloud-native architectures.
• Identify and assess new tools and technologies for the Service IT landscape.
• Support commercial and delivery decisions by evaluating supplier proposals and architectures.
• Own and maintain the overall solution architecture and integration blueprint for Business Process Solutions.
• Review supplier deliverables against requirements and provide feedback.
• Contribute to PoC initiatives with architects and developers to validate new concepts.
