Job summary

Hitachi Energy Services is seeking a Senior C++ Developer to design, develop, and maintain high-performance software for cutting-edge products. You will lead complex modules, optimize for performance, and drive architectural decisions.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, mentor juniors, and contribute to CI/CD efforts while staying ahead of industry trends. A strong background in C++, Linux, and testing is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in CS, SE, or related field.
• 5+ years of professional C++ software development experience.
• Proficient in C++11/14/17/20 with OO design, data structures and algorithms.
• Experience with multi-threading, concurrency, and performance optimization.
• Solid understanding of Linux/Unix and network programming.
• Experience with Git and agile methodologies; familiarity with debugging tools and Google Test.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, development, and implementation of complex C++ modules.
• Architect and optimize software for performance and scalability in distributed systems.
• Conduct code reviews, enforce coding standards and architectural guidelines.
• Collaborate with product management, QA, and engineering to define requirements.
• Troubleshoot and debug complex issues; mentor junior developers.
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and automation.
• Stay updated with emerging technologies and apply them to our software.
