Job summary

People Group is seeking a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer to lead the mechanical services design for data centres across Poland and Europe. You will own concepts through detailed design, tendering and handover, working with multidisciplinary teams and serving as a technical contact for clients and contractors.

The role requires 6+ years in mechanical building services, data centre experience, and solid knowledge of standards (CIBSE/ASHRAE/EN).

Qualifications

• 6+ years' experience in mechanical building services design.
• Experience on data centres, high-tech or large-scale projects.
• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Building Services Engineering.
• Strong understanding of mechanical design principles and standards (CIBSE/ASHRAE/EN).

Responsibilities

• Lead mechanical services design of major data centre projects from concept to handover.
• Coordinate BIM models and multidisciplinary interfaces.
• Prepare tender documentation and technical packages for bids.
• Mentor and guide junior engineers on technical tasks.
• Collaborate with clients, contractors and design teams to translate requirements into practical solutions.
