Job summary
Arup in Poland or Germany seeks a Lead Mechanical Engineer for data centres. You will provide technical leadership across cooling, HVAC, fire protection, and energy systems on medium to large-scale projects from concept to handover.
You will engage with clients and stakeholders, supervise design quality, and mentor engineers while advancing digital workflows such as Revit MEP/BIM and CFD. Fluent English required; German B1 or Polish preferred.
Qualifications
- Degree-qualified in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent, with leadership in mission-critical mechanical design.
- Deep expertise in precision cooling and data-centre mechanical design across full project lifecycle.
- Proficiency with digital design workflows including Revit MEP/BIM, CFD, and hydraulic studies.
Responsibilities
- Provide technical leadership for mechanical systems on medium to large data-centre projects.
- Lead client engagement translating business objectives into innovative, sustainable designs.
- Oversee design quality, reviews, and deliverables for compliance and coordination.
