Job summary

Haskoning seeks an Electrical Lead Engineer for its Mission Critical Facilities team to deliver electrical design and installation packages for data centre projects across borders. You will join a multidisciplinary team, work from Warszawa with travel as needed, and be responsible for scoping, design, testing, commissioning, vendor management, and client reporting.

Requires a degree in Electrical Engineering, fluent English and Polish, and ≥5 years of relevant experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or master in Electrical Engineering.
• At least 5 years in electrical design/installation.
• License to design (electrical specialization).
• Experience with short circuit, discrimination, LPS risk assessments.
• Fluency in English and Polish.
• Understanding of daily operations of construction clients.
• Entrepreneurial and proactive attitude.
• Flexible and positive problem-solving mindset.

Responsibilities

• Manage and deliver electrical work packages across multiple projects.
• Define scope, design objectives and deliver project documentation.
• Design power supplies across LV, MV, HV with redundancy and UPS.
• Ensure data centre security through protective installations.
• Provide quality information to contractors, vendors and regulators.
• Write technical specifications and reports.
• Assist PM with cost reviews and risk assessments.
• Perform risk management, testing and commissioning protocols.
• Review contractor pre-qualifications and tender evaluations.
• Evaluate proposals and vendor recommendations for clients.
• Represent Haskoning in FAT and site testing/commissioning.
• Communicate project status to directors and clients.
• Develop and maintain vendor relationships for continued development.
