Job summary

People Group is seeking a Senior Electrical Design Engineer to lead electrical building services design for data centre projects in Poland and across Europe. You will own concepts through detailed design, tender and handover, coordinating with a multidisciplinary team and clients.

The role requires 7+ years in electrical building services design, strong knowledge of IEC/EN standards, and hands-on experience with Revit and AutoCAD.

Qualifications

• 7+ years' experience in electrical building services design.
• Experience working on data centres, high-tech, industrial, healthcare or other technically complex large-scale projects.
• Strong knowledge of electrical building services design principles.
• Experience taking projects from concept through detailed design and delivery.
• Strong knowledge of IEC, EN and applicable local regulations.
• Strong understanding of electrical power distribution and mission-critical infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Lead the electrical services design of major data centre projects from concept through to completion and handover.
• Develop electrical design strategies in line with project requirements, client briefs, operational requirements and applicable standards.
• Take responsibility for the technical delivery of electrical design packages, ensuring designs are robust, coordinated and buildable.
• Design and specify electrical building services systems for complex mission critical environments.
• Develop calculations, specifications, equipment schedules, drawings and other engineering deliverables.
• Coordinate LV and MV electrical distribution systems and associated infrastructure.
• Review BIM/Revit models to ensure multidisciplinary interfaces are resolved.
• Prepare and review tender documentation and technical specifications.
• Support design reviews, client meetings and provide engineering recommendations.
