EPAM Systems is seeking a Lead C++ Engineer to maintain and evolve a critical Content Data pipeline at scale, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure stability in a demanding production environment.

The role requires strong C++ expertise (C++11), experience with distributed systems, and excellent communication to drive technical decisions, code reviews, and comprehensive documentation across projects in Poland.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on C++ development experience.
• Strong knowledge of multithreading, distributed systems, and Boost libraries.
• Proficiency in SQL and Python for testing and validation.
• Experience with Git or Perforce and code-review processes.
• Excellent written English communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and support the Content Data pipeline at scale.
• Collaborate with internal teams on data governance practices.
• Ramp up quickly on internal technologies and tools.
• Produce clear technical documentation for cross-team use.
• Contribute to code reviews and engineering discussions.
• Maintain and extend existing test suites for quality.
• Participate in technical discussions with engineering leads.
• Join on-call rotations (2 primary + 1 secondary).
