Job summary

EPAM Systems, Inc. in Poland seeks a Lead Fullstack Developer to architect and deliver complex web applications, mentor teams, and drive AI-enabled features across cloud platforms.

Office presence required at EPAM offices in Krakow, Gdansk, Wroclaw, Katowice or Lodz for at least 3 days. You will collaborate with product, UX, and business stakeholders, own code quality, CI/CD, and observability, and shape scalable solutions on AWS, GCP, or Azure, while guiding architecture decisions in an agile

Qualifications

• 5+ years of commercial software development experience.
• Strong backend Node.js expertise.
• Frontend experience with React or Angular.
• Experience deploying on AWS, GCP, or Azure.
• Practical AI experience and integration ability.
• Leadership in mentoring engineers within agile teams.
• CI/CD pipelines, containerization, testing, and observability best practices.
• Excellent communication with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end design, development, and deployment of fullstack applications with emphasis on performance, scalability, and security.
• Mentor cross-functional developers and establish best practices around code quality, testing, DevOps, and AI integration.
• Collaborate with product, UX, and business stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions delivering measurable value.
• Evaluate and integrate AI/ML services to optimize workflows and customer experiences.
• Oversee CI/CD pipelines, containerization, and observability to maintain high-quality releases.
