Job summary

Tylko is seeking a capable Engineering Team Leader (Python) to head its Backoffice Engineering Team in Warsaw. You will own architecture, mentor engineers, and drive ERP implementation across core internal systems supporting logistics, accounting, and BI.

You will lead initiatives on reliability, observability, and security while embedding AI-driven automation to improve efficiency. The role requires strong Python/Django skills and strong English/Polish communication.

Qualifications

• Proven experience leading a backend engineering team.
• Expert-level Python & Django; set standards across the codebase.
• Strong system design and API architecture skills.
• Experience with observability, monitoring and incident response.
• Understanding ERP platforms and backend integrations.
• Security/compliance practices for financial or operational data.
• CI/CD and DevOps with Docker, Linux and GCP.
• Fluent Polish and good English; Warsaw office 3 days a week.

Responsibilities

• Own the technical quality and architecture of the systems the team builds.
• Lead and develop the team through regular 1-on-1s and growth paths.
• Drive ERP implementation by integrating modules into backend systems.
• Act as the technical voice in cross-functional planning with stakeholders.
• Own system reliability and observability, including on-call processes.
• Embed AI and automation to deliver measurable efficiency gains.
