Job summary

Join Tylko in Warsaw as an Engineering Team Leader (Python). Lead the Backoffice Engineering Team responsible for internal systems powering logistics, warehouse, accounting, and BI. Drive ERP integration and AI-driven automation, shaping scalable operations.

You will mentor engineers, set technical direction, collaborate with business partners, and ensure reliable, secure systems while growing the team in a fast-paced, design-forward company.

Qualifications

• Proven experience leading a backend engineering team.
• Expert-level Python & Django capability.
• Strong system design and API architecture skills.
• Experience with observability, monitoring and incident response.
• Understanding of ERP platforms and backend integration.
• Awareness of security and compliance for financial data.
• CI/CD and DevOps fundamentals using Docker, Linux, GCP.
• Fluent Polish and good English.

Responsibilities

• Own technical quality and architecture of team systems.
• Lead the team with regular 1-on-1s and growth paths.
• Drive ERP implementation and backend integration.
• Act as technical voice in cross-functional planning.
• Own system reliability, observability, alerts and postmortems.
• Embed AI/automation to improve efficiency.
