State Street is seeking a KYC Lead Specialist to support AML/KYC processes for onboarding new customers and accounts, plus ongoing reviews to comply with policy. You will provide CIP, CDD and EDD services, collect and analyze client data, and screen against sanctions lists.

You will perform due diligence, create KYC profiles, source documents, validate documents, and monitor risk using compliance tools. Role involves collaboration with Front Office, AML training, and strategic projects.

Qualifications

• Advanced knowledge of AML/KYC regulations and processes.
• KYC process experience for different entity types such as Trusts, Hedge Funds, regulated entities, SPV would be an advantage (1 year+)
• Experience analysing complex ownership structures to determine risk exposure and applicable AML/KYC requirements, including jurisdictional uplifts is desirable.
• Experience with Prime, World Check, Lexis-Nexis and other negative news searches, would be an advantage.
• Excellent interpersonal, organizational and administrative skills.
• Good Microsoft Excel and Word skills.
• Very good language skills in English.
• One or more of the following language skills would be an advantage: French, German, Italian, Dutch, Arabic.

Responsabilités

• Perform Know Your Customer due diligence in line with AML Policies before account openings and on-going basis.
• Create KYC profiles in the system of record.
• Complete necessary forms to support CIP / CDD.
• Screen client names and other parties per Screening Standards.
• Source CDD documentation from internal/external sources (regulatory websites, company websites, Lexis Nexis, World Check).
• Cooperate with Front Office to obtain required CDD documentation.
• Validate CDD documentation provided by customers.
• Complete Customer AML risk assessments using compliance tools.
• Meet KRI / KPI targets for KYC profile reviews and escalate when required.
• Maintain tracking/reporting in designated tools.
• Assist with external regulatory examinations or testing.
• Attend AML awareness training sessions.
• Support ad hoc and/ or strategic projects.
• Complete enhanced due diligence on high risk customers / accounts.
• Perform EDD monitoring and PEP analysis as required.
• Assist in sourcing information for CIP / CDD completion.
• Facilitate AML awareness training sessions.
• Act as KYC subject matter expert; provide guidance to KYC specialists.
• Collaborate with stakeholders at the Global AML Center for deliverables.
• Provide support to the KYC Operations Manager.
• Act as deputy to the KYC Operations Manager in their absence.
• Demonstrate commitment to AML risk excellence through timely completion of due diligence.
• Maintain knowledge of current AML and financial crime risks through AML Academy and other training.
