Job summary

UPM is hiring a Junior Supply Planner to join our team in Nowa Wieś Wrocławska or nearby areas. You will support production planning, inventory management and cross-team collaboration to keep plans aligned with demand and capacity.

You’ll learn our planning systems, build skills in data quality and digital tools, and contribute to sustainable supply chain goals in a global, innovative company.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Logistics, Data Analytics, Engineering, Economics or a related field, or equivalent experience.
Fluent in Polish and English, both spoken and written.
Clear communicator with good working relationships
Able to adapt to changing plans and keep priorities
Organized with shifting priorities
Comfortable with numbers and checking accuracy
Curious, proactive and responsible
Able to make decisions and ask questions when needed
Willing to learn and grow in the role

Responsibilities

Plan production runs and schedule orders based on demand, stock, available materials and machine capacity
Manage laminate stock levels, balancing reliable delivery with avoiding excess stock and waste
Coordinate with Operations, Procurement and other teams to ensure clear information flow and smooth production
Spot supply risks early and communicate solutions when plans change
Keep planning data and capacity information up to date in systems
Track delivery and inventory performance and act when targets are not met
Plan trials and samples and support introduction or phase-out of products
Explore digital tools and AI to improve planning, decision-making and data quality
Share knowledge and provide cover when needed

What You Will Do

Plan production runs and schedule orders based on customer demand, stock levels, available materials and machine capacity
Manage laminate stock levels, balancing reliable delivery with the need to avoid excess stock and waste
Work with Operations, Procurement and other teams to make sure information flows clearly and production runs smoothly
Spot supply risks early, help find solutions and keep the right people informed when plans change
Keep planning data and production capacity information up to date in our systems
Track delivery and inventory performance and take action when results are off target
Plan trials and samples and support the introduction or phase-out of products
Look for practical ways to use digital tools and AI to improve planning, decision-making and data quality
Share your knowledge and support other Supply Planners, including providing cover when needed

Who You Are

You have a bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Logistics, Data Analytics, Engineering, Economics or a related field, or equivalent experience
You communicate clearly in Polish and English, both spoken and written
You enjoy working with people and building good working relationships
You can adapt when plans change and keep track of your priorities
You stay organized when priorities change
You are comfortable working with numbers and checking your work for accuracy
You are curious, look for practical solutions and take the initiative when something needs attention
You are willing to make decisions, ask questions when needed and take responsibility for your work
You are confident using Excel, especially formulas and pivot tables
Experience with an ERP system is a plus, but not required

Additional Information

The position holder will report to the Supply Planning Manager.
