Job summary

Olympus Europe SE & Co. KG is seeking a Procurement Analyst in Wroclaw to manage daily procurement activities, issue POs, and ensure accurate records. You will coordinate with cross-functional teams to optimize supplier performance and implement process improvements in a hybrid work setup.

The role requires English proficiency, a logistics-related degree, and experience with ERP systems such as SAP MM. Hybrids—40% office, 60% home—are supported.

Qualifications

• Basic understanding of procurement processes and PO lifecycle.
• Experience with procurement, purchasing, logistics or customer support is a plus.
• Familiarity with ERP systems, SAP MM knowledge is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily procurement operations for merchandise from European and non-European suppliers.
• Issue purchase orders and handle order acknowledgments to maintain records.
• Book goods receipts in the system and manage discrepancy claims with suppliers.
• Resolve invoice discrepancies in collaboration with finance and suppliers.
• Conduct performance reviews and analyses to assess procurement efficiency.
• Identify process improvements, including automation and workflow optimization.
• Collaborate with Customer Care, PSI Planning, Warehouse Manager, and Strategic Supplier Management on supplier evaluations.
• Provide timely updates on delivery status and lead times to internal stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with J-SOX controls and internal audit standards.

• Conduct regular performance reviews and analyses to assess procurement efficiency and supplier reliability.
• Identify and implement process improvements, including automation and workflow optimization.

• University degree preferably in logistics or related field.
• Willingness to work in a hybrid mode (40% from the office, 60% from home in a week).
