Job Description

The job is remote, from Poland.

We seek an organised and efficient Associate Procurement Specialist to join our team based in Poland. You will support the Procurement functions' daily operations and ensure smooth supply chain processes.

  • Assist in the preparation and processing of purchase orders, requisitions, and other procurement documents
  • Support the evaluation and selection of vendors through market research and data analysis
  • Collaborate with team members to identify cost-saving opportunities and process improvements
  • Prepare reports and presentations on procurement activities and performance
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures in all procurement activities
  • You will work closely with all team members, supporting them with procurement and supply management requests for support related to their categories.
  • You will promote, provide guidance, and ensure compliance with the Global Procurement Policy and associated processes for internal and external stakeholders.
  • You will independently manage one or more spending categories with the team's support.
  • You will conduct an intermediate-level financial analysis of tender responses to present to the senior teamand the overall Global Head of Procurement.
  • You will be responsible for keeping the Procurement Source to Contract platform updated for all contracts and supplier management (contract end dates, etc.) and identifying opportunities for improvements in systems and processes.
  • You will be responsible for updating the Procurement intranet site to ensure it is current and up to date, and recommending and implementing improvements.

Qualifications
  • Must be willing to learn new skills, processes, and techniques, demonstrating a curious mindset and creativity in problem-solving. Additionally, you should be able to articulate and recommend effective solutions.
  • Must be comfortable working in a close-knit team and also be capable of working independently.
  • A bachelor’s degree in business administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field is required, along with 1 to 3 years of experience in procurement or a similar position.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) is essential; familiarity with Power BI is advantageous.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are necessary, with experience in handling complex data.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both verbal and written, are required.
  • Attention to detail, along with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks from beginning to end, is crucial.
  • Knowledge of procurement processes and best practices is essential.
  • Familiarity with supplier management and vendor relationships is preferred.
  • Strong time management and prioritization skills are vital, along with the ability to meet deadlines.
  • A positive attitude and a can-do mindset are essential for achieving excellent outcomes for yourself, your stakeholders, and your team.
  • Fluency in English, both written and spoken, is essential.
