Job summary

Versigent is seeking a Finance – Collections Specialist in Kraków to manage collections, resolve customer financial inquiries, and drive accurate account statements. You will use SAP, Excel, and other tools to monitor past due balances and generate reports, collaborating with other departments to maintain service levels.

Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor's in Finance or Accounting, fluent English, and strong analytical and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Collections management and resolving customer financial inquiries.
• Managing due and overdue balances through Collections Workflow tools.
• Engaging with customers via phone, email, and other channels.
• Addressing discrepancies (Quantity, Price, Warranty, Customer, Freight, etc.).
• Financial reporting and documentation.
• Preparing and distributing customer account statements and reports.
• Generating Past Due reports and forecasts.
• Collaborating with other departments to improve processes.

YOUR ROLE

• Collections Management
• Resolving customer financial inquiries professionally and efficiently
• Managing due and overdue balances through Collections Workflow tools
• Engaging with customers via phone, email, and other communication channels
• Addressing and resolving discrepancies (Quantity, Price, Warranty, Customer, Freight, etc.)
• Financial Reporting & Documentation
• Preparing and distributing customer account statements
• Generating timely reports including Past Due reports and Forecasts
• Creating and maintaining comprehensive desktop procedures
• Process Improvement & Collaboration
• Identifying opportunities for continuous process improvement
• Escalating and following up on issues through appropriate channels
• Ensuring Key Performance Indicators are met and service excellence is maintained
• Collaborating effectively with other departments

YOUR BACKGROUND

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
• Basic knowledge of SAP systems
• Fluent English communication skills (both written and verbal)
• Advanced Excel skills
• Strong analytical abilities and excellent communication skills
