Olympus Europe SE & CO. KG is hiring a Junior HR Operations Specialist with German to support HR processes, onboarding, benefits and system updates. You will maintain HRIS records, generate reports and ensure data accuracy while complying with privacy regulations.

In this hybrid role, you’ll collaborate with HR Business Partners, payroll and other departments, provide timely responses to inquiries, and drive process improvements with a proactive, team-based approach.

Qualifications

• Experience in HR Operations using HRIS, preferably SAP SuccessFactors.
• Fluent English and German, written and spoken.
• Proactive, accountable, collaborative with clear communication.
• Willingness to work in a hybrid mode (60% office, 40% home).
• Experience in high-complexity environments.

Responsibilities

• Perform HR admin tasks including onboarding, offboarding, benefits administration and data updates.
• Maintain HR systems (MyHR, Umantis) to ensure accurate records and reporting.
• Serve as first point of contact for HR policies, benefits, and systems inquiries.
• Ensure compliance with labor laws and assist audits as needed.
• Generate HR reports to support decision-making and daily operations.
• Collaborate with payroll, HRBPs and other departments for alignment.

Junior HR Operations Specialist with German

• Performing administrative tasks in HR processes, including employee onboarding, offboarding, benefits administration, and others, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in line with applicable KPIs and metrics.
• Maintaining and updating the relevant HR systems (MyHR, Umantis and other in scope) to ensure accurate employee records, reporting, and compliance with data privacy regulations.
• Acting as the first point of contact for employee and manager inquiries related to HR policies, benefits, and systems, providing timely and accurate resolutions.
• Ensuring adherence to company policies, labor laws, and regulations, and assist in audits or compliance-related activities as needed.
• Identifying opportunities to streamline and improve HR operational processes & leveraging technology and best practices to enhance efficiency.
• Generating HR reports to support decision-making and daily processing.
• Cooperating closely with HR business partners, HR Coordinators, payroll, and other departments to ensure alignment and consistency in HR operations.
• Maintaining and updating HR process documentation, guides, and desktop procedures
• Any previous experience in HR Operations, using HR information systems - preferably SAP SuccessFactors.
• Fluent English (verbal and written).
• Communicative German (verbal and written).
• A proactive way of working and communicating - demonstrating accountability and ownership.

• Team-player attitude, focus on collaboration and building relationships.
• Experience in working in high-complexity environment (processes and structures)
