Manago AI, a Customer Engagement Platform based in Kraków, Poland, invites applications for a Junior Accountant on a fixed-term contract. You will verify financial documents, perform data entry, and execute bank transfers with precision.

The role also covers payables management, vendor/customer reconciliations, and supporting monthly closes. Ideal candidates have at least one year in accounting and are proficient with MS Office and accounting software.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year in an accounting department or accounting firm.
• Solid understanding of basic accounting principles and financial settlement practices.
• Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or similar is welcome.

Responsibilities

• Verify financial and accounting documents for formal and arithmetic accuracy.
• Data entry and posting of accounting documents to ensure full recording of transactions.
• Prepare and execute bank transfers (domestic and international).
• Oversee payables, reconcile vendor/customer balances, and process bank statements.
• Collaborate with other departments on document flow and payment information.
• Assist senior accountants with monthly and year-end closing.

Junior Accountant (f/m) (fixed term contract)

We are looking for individuals with

• Relevant experience (e.g., minimum 1 year in an accounting department or accounting firm)
• Solid understanding of basic accounting principles and financial settlement practices
• Degree in a related field (Finance, Accounting, Economics, or similar) is welcome
• High attention to detail , meticulousness, and strong analytical skills
• Excellent time management , self-organization, and ability to meet deadlines
• Strong teamwork and communication skills
• Hands-on proficiency in MS Office and experience with accounting software (e.g., enova365, Comarch ERP Optima, SaldeoSmart)

What you will be doing

• Verification of financial and accounting documents for formal and arithmetical accuracy
• Data entry and posting of accounting documents to ensure all business transactions are fully recorded
• Preparation and execution of bank transfers (domestic and international)
• Ongoing management of payables , reconciliation of vendor/customer balances, and processing of bank statements
• Cross-departmental collaboration regarding document flow and payment information
• Assisting senior accountants with monthly and year-end closing procedures
