Job summary

Dover Imaging & Identification (DII), a Dover Corporation segment including Solaris Laser, seeks a General Accountant and Accounts Payable specialist to optimize AP processes across Europe. The role collaborates with the SSC, Financial Controller, and cross-functional teams to resolve complex issues and ensure compliant financial reporting.

The candidate will manage payments, assist with month-end close, and support audits while communicating with international suppliers.

Qualifications

Hold a university degree in accounting (2–3 years of higher education).
5+ years of experience in an international or multinational setting preferred.
Knowledge in Microsoft Office and SAP (FI-CO) or similar ERP system.
Attention to detail, strong organizational skills and prioritization.
Independence, responsiveness and initiative.
Adaptability and analytical mindset.
Fluent English; able to communicate with foreign entities and suppliers.

Responsibilities

Ensure efficiency and smooth operation of accounts payable processes as liaison between SSC and departments.
Monitor performance metrics and assist with monthly closings and reconciliations.
Validate and track payments; support intercompany invoices and postings.
Assist with SOX controls, audits and ad hoc analyses.
Provide support on VAT, import/export issues and procurement-related queries.
