Job summary

Dover Imaging & Identification (DII) within Dover Corporation’s Finance Department seeks a General and Accounts Payable Accountant responsible for efficient AP processes across Dover Europe, collaborating with the Financial Controller in France and the Shared Services Center in the Philippines.

The role manages AP workflows, monitors SSC performance, supports non-finance teams, resolves VAT/invoicing issues, validates payments, and contributes to audits and monthly closings.

Qualifications

• University degree in accounting (2–3 years of higher education) required.
• 5+ years of experience, ideally in an international organization.
• Proficiency in SAP FI-CO or similar ERP software and MS Office.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage competing priorities.
• Fluent English is required for communication with foreign entities and suppliers.

Responsibilities

• Ensure efficient operation of accounts payable processes as liaison between SSC and Markem-Imaje departments.
• Monitor performance metrics and SSC activities related to accounts payable.
• Support non-finance departments and SSC in resolving complex AP issues.
• Identify and resolve VAT, import/export, workflow and pricing disputes.
• Validate and track payments; participate in cross-functional projects with Global Process Owner.
• Monitor reconciliation of accounts payable, especially old invoices.
• Assist with provisions for purchases and expense reports; support SOX controls and audits.
• Prepare intercompany invoices and track postings and payments.
