Boehringer Ingelheim Business Services Poland is offering a 6-month paid internship in Wrocław. You will learn the GBS-HR payroll and time management processes, processing tasks under supervision and then independently contributing to daily activities.
The role requires English and Italian at least B2, and a willingness to learn. On-site presence is required at least 3 days a week, with tasks across data maintenance, reporting, and inquiries.
Joining our company, you will gather an overview of the GBS-HR Organization with a particular focus on the tasks and responsibilities of the Payroll and Time Management team. You will be qualified to independently contribute to the daily run-mode activities. As an intern, you will be able to support the team on daily tasks by learning how to use different tools and systems, how to process various Personal Administration tasks.
The start time of our 6 months long paid internship program, as well as the working hours, can be flexibly adjusted to your availability. We are meeting on-site in our office in Wocław at least 3 days a week .
As an HR Payroll and Time Management Intern with Italian , you will be responsible for:
Maintaining employee data on a regular basis.
Participating in training sessions (according to the training schedule) and workshops.
Participating in team and country meetings.
Processing Time Management and Payroll transactions in the system, depending on team needs.
Handling multiple data entries in Time Management and Payroll systems.
Supporting projects, research activities, and team engagement initiatives.
Preparing and analyzing reports.
Responding to Payroll and Time Management inquiries, ranging from simple to complex, via phone and email using our case management system.
Identifying opportunities for process improvements and supporting their implementation.
You should have good communication skills in English and Italian (minimum B2 level) and be a student or graduate interested in HR Administration or a related field.
Willingness to learn new skills and to take over responsibility for the assigned tasks.
Proactivity, good organization of the own work and the ability to prioritize.
Attention to detail and problem-solving skills with high level of reliability and confidentiality.
Empathy, team spirit and service-oriented mindset.
Existing experience in a professional business environment, e.g. previous internships or relevant student work is a plus.
Knowledge of MS Office (Word and Excel). Previous experience in operating on any HR systems will help you to get acquainted with our toolset (SAP, SuccessFactors, ServiceNow, OpenText, DocuSign) faster.
