Job summary

Kuehne+Nagel in Poland is seeking a Transport Coordinator to plan, coordinate and monitor transport services for customers. You will report to the Integrated Logistics Team Lead and collaborate with internal teams and external providers to ensure excellent service.

The role requires a minimum of 1 year in logistics or transport operations, strong English communication, and the ability to meet time-critical deadlines.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of experience in logistics or transport operations.
• Fluent in English, written and spoken; additional languages are a plus.
• Ability to complete time-critical tasks within deadlines.
• Attention to detail with a sense of urgency and accountability.
• Customer-focused, able to communicate clearly and manage expectations.
• Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel.

Responsibilities

• Process transport requests according to customer requirements (inbound and outbound, across all modes).
• Secure transport equipment, set up pickup/delivery, and check documentation.
• Provide professional customer service via phone and email.
• Coordinate with shipping/receiving points and carriers for managed moves.
• Monitor shipment statuses and address deviations promptly.
• Report escalations to line management in a timely manner.
• Support new processes through feedback and testing.

KN Integrated Logistics designs, implements and executes 4PL services for companies around the globe. As our employee, you will plan, coordinate and monitor the execution of transportation services tailored to meet customer needs.

As a Transport Coordinator, you will coordinate transport-related activities on behalf of our Customer’s logistics department. Directly reporting to the Integrated Logistics Team Lead, you will handle customer requests concerning shipment handling and manage deviations from the standard process. You will closely cooperate with other KN departments and external transport providers in order to ensure excellent customer experience for our clients.

How you create impact

• Process requests for transport according to customer requirements (inbound and outbound, across all modes);
• Secure required transport equipment, set up pickup/delivery appointments, check transport related documentation;
• Provide professional customer service to our clients, via phone and email;
• Manage communication with shipping and receiving points and carriers in relation to managed transport moves;
• Monitor shipment statuses and act upon any observed deviations;
• Report escalated matters in timely manner to line management;
• Support implementation of new processes by providing feedback and testing new solutions.

What we would like you to bring

• Minimum 1 year experience with logistics or transport operations, experience with temperature controlled shipping is an advantage;
• Communicate fluently in English both verbally and in written form. Other languages are a plus;
• Ability to fulfil time-critical tasks within specified timeframes and deadlines;
• Attention to details accompanied by good sense of urgency and accountability;
• Customer focused when handling problems, able to clearly communicate and manage expectations;
• Confident user of MS Office, especially Excel.
