Job summary

Elasticsearch B.V. seeks a Principal Product Manager to guide ITDR strategy within Elastic Security.

You will define identity-focused threat detection, non-human and AI identity management, and coordinate with researchers, engineers, and customers to shape the product roadmap. You will work in a distributed, remote-first environment, evangelize identity capabilities, and collaborate across threat, data science, and engineering teams to secure identity-based attacks in cloud and on-prem

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in product management or solution delivery for security products such as SIEM, XDR, EDR, identity security, or detection and response.

Responsibilities

• Define and own the vision, strategy, and roadmap for a credible ITDR function within Elastic Security.
• Model non-human and AI identities (service accounts, workloads, secrets, AI agents) and define lifecycle and behavior standards.
• Collaborate with threat researchers, detection engineers, and engineers on identity-specific threats (credential access, privilege escalation, lateral movement).
• Drive response and containment strategies, turning detections into action with identity-system integrations and automated responses.
• Engage with enterprise customers to understand requirements for identity attacks and prioritize product needs.
• Partner with design to create investigation and response experiences and integrate identity signals with SIEM/XDR data.
• Develop market knowledge to shape a unique strategy and engage with analysts.
