Job summary

Elastic is seeking a Principal Product Manager for Elastic Security to lead strategic accounts and translate security needs into a coherent product roadmap. You will collaborate across Product, Sales, Customer Success, and Engineering to drive high-impact outcomes.

You will manage enhancement requests across many enterprise customers, prioritize with data and judgment, and communicate roadmaps to CISOs, CTOs, and security leaders. Travel up to 50% is expected.

Qualifications

• 7–10 years in product management, 4+ years in B2B enterprise software.
• Proven track record with named strategic accounts and revenue impact.
• Experience with hyperscalers, MSSPs or PubSec is a plus.
• Ability to turn customer input into shipped products with clear roadmaps.

Responsibilities

• Own enhancement request pipeline across multiple strategic accounts.
• Translate customer requirements into shipped products and coherent direction.
• Turn input from strategic accounts into successful products and partnerships.
• Feed validated customer patterns back into core product roadmaps.
• Serve as primary product voice with senior stakeholders (CISO/CTO/VP Security).
• Prioritize requirements using structured frameworks (RICE, scoring).
• Write actionable specs with engineering, assess feasibility and scope.
• Support deal cycles with RFPs, security questionnaires, roadmaps.
