Job summary

Nordea is seeking a Network Operations Expert to join the Network Operations Oversight team in Poland, supporting the security, stability and resilience of our global network services. You will lead complex investigations, own high-impact incidents, drive data-driven improvements, and collaborate with suppliers, engineering teams and stakeholders across Poland and the Nordic region.

The role emphasizes operational readiness, documentation, and governance.

Qualifications

Hold at least a valid CCNP certification (prefer CCNP Security).
Extensive network operations experience in large enterprise environments.
Strong knowledge of Cisco ISE, ASA/VPN, and SD-WAN operations.
Experience with ITIL Incident, Change and Problem processes.
Proficient in monitoring/telemetry with Grafana, Splunk, and LogicMonitor.
Ability to work cross-country teams in Agile SAFe.

Responsibilities

Lead in-depth investigations into complex network issues and remediation options.
Own business-critical incidents with engineering teams and vendors.
Turn monitoring data into actionable insights and dashboards.
Lead Root Cause Analysis within the Problem Management process.
Plan and deliver network changes with risk assessment and rollback readiness.
Oversee vulnerability management and security baseline compliance.
Collaborate with experts across countries and technology domains.
Validate operational readiness of new or changed solutions.
Create and maintain high-quality technical documentation across teams.
Maintain prioritized backlogs and communicate status to governance forums.
