Job summary

Nordea in Poland is seeking a Network Operations Expert to join the Network Operations Oversight team. You will lead in-depth investigations, own critical incidents, and collaborate with engineering teams, vendors and suppliers to deliver secure, reliable network services.

The role offers a hybrid work model across Poland (Łódź, Gdynia, Gdańsk, Warsaw). CCNP certification and extensive network operations experience are required, with responsibilities spanning incident management, monitoring

Qualifications

• Hold at least a CCNP certification and extensive network operations experience.
• Experience with Cisco Catalyst Center, ISE, ASA, VPN and SD-WAN is required.
• Strong understanding of ITIL processes including Incident, Change and Problem Management.
• Hands-on troubleshooting using logs, monitoring data, and vendor tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead in-depth technical investigations into complex network issues and service degradation.
• Take ownership of business-critical incidents and coordinate with engineering teams and vendors to restore services.
• Translate monitoring data and trends into actionable insights and develop operational dashboards.
• Lead Root Cause Analysis within Problem Management and shape preventive actions.
• Plan and deliver network changes with risk assessment and rollback readiness.
• Oversee vulnerability management and ensure security baselines across services.
• Participate in supplier and cross-country reviews to ensure delivery quality and accountability.
• Validate operational readiness of new and changed network solutions.
• Create and maintain high-quality technical documentation across teams.
• Maintain prioritised action, risk, issue, and improvement backlogs and communicate status clearly.
