Job summary

Brown Brothers Harriman & Co. in Kraków is seeking a detail-oriented professional for the Alternatives Custody Team to independently resolve client inquiries related to account management and oversee daily operations for accuracy and timeliness.

The role requires at least 4 years in finance, strong analytical skills, and a client-focused mindset. Hybrid work model: 3 days in the office / 2 days remote; emphasis on KPI reporting and proactive issue resolution.

Qualifications

• BS/BA degree or equivalent work experience.
• At least 4 years of professional experience in finance, custody or similar fields, English language proficiency B2+/ C1.
• Prior experience coordinating work, writing procedures, training others.
• Strong analytical skills.
• Strong client focus.
• Self-motivated with the ability to manage multiple projects.
• Ability to work in a dynamic environment and with strict deadlines.
• Risk awareness, including data protection.
• Comprehensive knowledge of Excel.

Responsibilities

• Independently resolve and oversee the Clients’ inquiries related to account management.
• Day to day management of operations, ensuring accuracy, timeliness and completeness of all client related tasks.
• Act as the primary point of escalation for Clients, Account Managers, Client Service Group, for any issues and proactively manage the resolution process with frequent updates and satisfaction measures.
• Review and discuss issues requiring escalation to Team Leader/Manager.
• Prepare clients’ and internal KPIs.
• Proper identification of potential problems with account management and payment settlements.
• Carrying out any updates on the account set up.
• Dealing with account life cycle inquiries.
• Ensure clear communication among team with respect to all timetables and workflow.
• Assist in special projects to improve the efficiency, quality and accuracy of work performed by the team.
