UPM’s Global HR Services in Zabierzów, Kraków area, Poland seeks an HR Specialist, German Speaker to join the Reward and Career Changes team. You will support local units in employment life-cycle tasks, collaborate with payroll and benefits providers, and advise employees and managers on HR processes using HR systems.

You will operate in a hybrid setup with relocation support to Kraków, and you will report to Manager, HRS Reward & Career Changes.

Qualifications

• Fluent in German and English (both mandatory).
• Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in a relevant field.

Responsibilities

• Provide HR advisory to employees and managers on processes, policies, and questions using ServiceNow, phone, and chat.
• Maintain HR data in Workday, including personal, employment, compensation and benefits.
• Prepare HR documents and reports and participate in HR projects and initiatives based on needs and skills.

What you will do

• Support local UPM units in various administrative tasks related to the employment life-cycle and benefits.
• Co-operate with HR business partners at UPM’s mills and office sites and external stakeholders e.g. payroll or benefits’ providers.
• Provide advice to employees or managers related to HR processes, policies, and questions using ServiceNow, phone and chat.
• Maintain personal, employment, compensation and benefit related data updated in HR system (Workday).
• Prepare HR documents and reports.
• Participate in additional HR projects and initiatives based on current need, your interests and skills.

Who you are

• You communicate fluently in German and English (both mandatory).
• You have a Bachelor’s degree (or higher) or equivalent in a relevant field of study.
• You ideally have previous HR experience or interest in developing in this area.
• You are comfortable working with various software and systems.
• You are committed to delivering high-quality service and ensuring stakeholders’ satisfaction.
• You have solid communication skills and a positive attitude.
• You demonstrate accuracy and attention to detail.
• Excel skills are an advantage.
