Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
• 5–6 years of experience in HR operations, shared services, or HR support roles.
• Experience providing first line or customer support in a corporate environment.
• Experience working with HR systems (Workday, SAP, SuccessFactors, ServiceNow).
• Fluent in German (C1 or higher) and good command of English (B2/C1).

Responsibilities

• Serve as first point of contact for HR queries from employees and managers.
• Oversee team tasks and monitor queues, balance workload, and perform quality checks.
• Support onboarding of new joiners and assist in onboarding processes.
• Track KPIs and prepare daily/weekly performance reports, identifying bottlenecks and proposing improvements.
• Document HR cases accurately in systems and maintain knowledge base.
• Participate in process improvement initiatives to optimize HR service delivery.
• Assist in HR reporting and documentation as needed.

Job description

We are looking for an experienced and motivated HRO Subject Matter Expert (SME) with German language skills to join our international HR Service Center. You will be the first point of contact for employees and managers, providing high-quality HR support in line with company policies and procedures.

This role requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple HR-related queries efficiently in German language.

Key Responsibilities:

• Handles team, assigns tasks to team members, represents teams in customer calls, acts as a backup TL.
• Acts as first point of contact for team questions, supports onboarding of new joiners.
• Assign and prioritize incoming HR queries, monitor queues, balance workload across team, conduct quality checks (tickets reviews, accuracy of documentation)
• Track KPIs, prepare daily/weekly performance reports, identify bottlenecks and suggests improvements, ensure adherence to SLAs
• Ensure proper documentation of HR cases in systems, maintain process guidelines and knowledge base,
• Participate in process improvement initiatives to optimize HR service delivery.
• Support HR reporting and documentation as needed.

Requirements:

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.

Experience:

• Minimum 5–6 years of experience in HR operations, HR shared services, or HR support roles.
• Proven experience providing first line or customer support in a corporate environment.
• Experience working with HR systems (e.g., Workday, SAP, SuccessFactors, ServiceNow).

Skills:

• Fluent in German (C1 or higher) and good command of English (B2/C1).
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills — able to interact professionally across all levels of the organization.
• Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and problem-solving ability.
• Prior experience in human resources operations and best practices
• Any additional training and certification in Human Resource Management will be considered an advantage
• Exceptional customer service orientation
• High degree of confidentiality and professionalism in handling sensitive HR data.
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, Word).

Nice to Have:

• Experience in a multinational or shared services environment.
• Familiarity with HR processes across multiple European countries.
• Knowledge of HR service delivery frameworks (SLA, KPI, ticket handling).
