Job summary

Philip Morris International in Kraków seeks an experienced HR Operations Lead to drive key HR processes, payroll verification, and data integrity across the organization. You will lead a team delivering efficient HR solutions while collaborating with Business Partners and stakeholders on transformation initiatives.

The role requires a university degree in HR or related field, 5+ years in HR Operations, and strong English communication.

Qualifications

• University degree in HR, Business Administration or related field.
• Min 5 years in HR Operations/HR Services.
• Min 2 years in team leadership (global preferred).
• Strong understanding of employee lifecycle and HR processes.
• Able to organize work, set priorities, and manage competing demands.
• Confident handling escalations with stakeholders.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Fluency in English (C1); German/Hungarian/Czech/Slovak beneficial.
• Good Excel skills; familiarity with HR systems such as SuccessFactors or Salesforce.

Responsibilities

• Support key HR operations including position management, reorganizations, payroll verification, personnel records and rewards programs, ensuring policy and labor-law compliance.
• Lead and support a team to deliver efficient HR solutions.
• Resolve HR operational issues through data analysis, cross-functional collaboration and process improvements; manage payroll and personnel data discrepancies.
• Handle stakeholder and Business Partner escalations with timely resolutions and clear communications.
• Exposure to transformation projects, ideally involving centralization.
• Support compliance with internal controls, data privacy and legal requirements; escalate risks when needed.
• Assist change management by communicating updates and priorities to the team.
