Job summary

Jit Team in Poland is seeking a Senior Technical Leader and hands-on Software Engineer to design, develop, and deliver scalable, secure enterprise applications across Europe. You will shape technical roadmaps, establish standards, and align solutions with business goals while ensuring performance and reliability.

Expect to lead full-stack development, collaborate across business units, and mentor colleagues in a fast-paced Agile environment with hybrid work from Gdańsk.

Qualifications

• Min. 8 years of commercial experience as a Software Developer.
• Proficiency in front-end technologies (HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and frameworks).
• Proficiency in back-end technologies (Node.js, Python, Java, or similar; Django).
• Database design and management (MySQL, PostgreSQL).
• API development: RESTful APIs design and development.
• Cloud/DevOps: Azure, Kubernetes; CI/CD with GitHub Actions.
• Security: authentication, authorization, encryption, secure coding.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deliver scalable, secure enterprise applications across the full stack.
• Define technical architecture and drive technology decisions in line with business goals.
• Establish engineering standards, best practices, and maintainability guidelines.
• Build and enhance web applications, backend services, REST APIs, and data processing solutions.
• Lead cloud-native and microservices-based solutions with automation and CI/CD.
• Own the end-to-end SDLC from requirements to deployment and support.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business needs into technical solutions.
• Mentor team members through coaching and code reviews.
• Ensure quality, security, and performance through testing and optimization.
