Job summary

Moniepoint Inc. is expanding to Poland and seeking a Head of Engineering, Supply Chain to lead the software estate behind inventory, logistics and repair management.

You will shape the technical strategy for a large distributed team, drive platformisation across systems, and partner with business stakeholders to deliver scalable, reliable solutions at scale. You will manage 25+ engineers, mentor managers, and guide architecture standards while maintaining operational discipline and data

Qualifications

• 10-15 years of software engineering experience, with at least 5 years leading engineering teams.
• 5+ years hands-on production experience writing Java as a practising engineer.
• At least 5 years of experience managing managers and leading engineering orgs.
• Deep hands-on experience in supply chain, inventory, warehouse or logistics software at scale.
• Fintech or regulated-industry experience with understanding of device management in payments.
• Proven system design ability at large scale, managing hundreds of thousands of devices or more.
• Experience managing and developing large engineering teams of 20+ members.
• Excellent stakeholder management, translating complex tech to non-technical leaders.
• A product-minded approach to solving operational problems with engineering solutions.

Responsibilities

• Own the technical strategy and architecture for inventory and logistics tools and repair management software.
• Lead an engineering organisation of ~25 engineers, including managers, QA, SRE and Data Engineering.
• Drive platformisation of inventory and supply chain systems for visible, trustworthy data across millions of terminals.
• Bridge operational practice and software systems with operationally disciplined solutions.
• Define architecture standards, processes and quality metrics across squads for reliability and data integrity.
• Collaborate with business and operational stakeholders to translate requirements into engineering solutions.
• Hire, mentor and develop engineering managers and senior engineers to support growth to 30+ members.
