Xylem, a Fortune 500 global water solutions company, is seeking a Shipping Specialist in Strzelin, Poland. You will coordinate domestic and international shipments, manage export documentation, and optimize freight while maintaining budgets and carrier relationships.

Qualifications

• Academic background in Logistics or supply chain management, international trade
• Minimum 5 year’s experience in relevant areas for an international company
• Excellent Polish/English (German, French, Italian, Spanish or Swedish is a plus)
• Track record of accountability
• Good analytical skills and proficiency in MS Office
• Capability of translating customer needs into shipping solutions
• International Trade and compliance knowledge
• High communication skills
• Time and cost management
• Team work

Responsibilities

• Coordinate logistics for domestic and international shipments.
• Manage export documentation including permits, customs paperwork, certificates and shipping instructions.
• Plan, book, and ship outgoing goods from Strzelin according to schedule.
• Load planning to optimize freight using available tools and systems.
• Invoice goods, shipping costs, and service; issue credit notes if necessary.
• Notify documents against carrier/customer; perform invoice control against carriers.
• Calculate shipping costs for ad-hoc requests.
• Drive claims cases against carriers and insurers.
• Update delivery schedules and standard work instructions.
• Maintain customer register; manage performance and relationships with Xylem carriers.
• Collaborate with site functions, commercial teams and finance for budgets/forecast.
