Qualifications

• Master’s degree in English, Publishing, Journalism, or MBA preferred.
• 3–5+ years in acquisitions, literary agency, or rights brokering.
• Proven track record closing publishing deals and shepherding manuscripts.
• Fluent with publishing systems and CRM tools.

Responsibilities

• Source, structure, and negotiate publishing contracts across four publishing tracks.
• Identify high-potential authors and manage client education.
• Maintain global distribution and IP monetization.
• Build and manage networks with authors, presses, and institutions.
