Job summary

People Can Fly is seeking a meticulous People Operations & Payroll Manager to own payroll and employee administration across multiple countries. You will work hands-on, ensuring accuracy, compliance and timely delivery while partnering with Finance, Talent Acquisition and IT.

The role requires strong payroll expertise, exceptional organisation and the ability to manage complex data, with fluency in Polish and English and experience with HR systems.

Qualifications

• At least 4 years of experience in HR Operations, People Operations, payroll or a closely related role.
• Hands-on payroll experience and ability to personally manage payroll activities.
• Fluent Polish and English.
• Advanced Excel skills and confidence with detailed employee data.
• Experience using HRIS and payroll systems.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end payroll processing across multiple countries, coordinating with Finance and external providers.
• Manage onboarding, contracts, changes and offboarding for employees.
• Maintain accurate employee records and HR system data.
• Identify and implement process improvements, automation and AI to reduce manual work.
• Provide clear, timely support to employees and managers.
