Job summary

Hitachi Energy Ltd. is seeking a Payroll Expert for Global Mobility & Travel Compliance in Kraków.

You will design and implement payroll processes for international travel, collaborating with HR, Tax, Legal, and external providers to ensure regulatory compliance and a seamless employee experience. The role requires deep Global Payroll experience across jurisdictions, knowledge of employment tax and social security, and strong stakeholder management in a large multinational setting.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in Global Payroll Operations for international populations.
• Knowledge of employment tax and social security compliance requirements.
• Experience with shadow payroll and international assignment payroll.
• Experience with outsourced payroll providers in multi-country environments.

Responsibilities

• Act as the Global Payroll SME within the Business Travel Compliance program.
• Design end-to-end payroll processes supporting international travel compliance.
• Define interfaces between payroll providers and compliance solutions.
• Develop governance, audit, reconciliation, and control frameworks.
