Job summary

Hitachi Energy Ltd. seeks a senior HR Operations Process Expert for Mobility & Travel Compliance to translate travel requirements into scalable HR processes and documentation, leading implementation across HR Operations worldwide after go-live.

You will design global process maps, SOPs, and work instructions; establish RACI and governance; train HR teams; coordinate validation workshops; and drive continuous improvements, aligning with local regulations in Poland Kraków and beyond.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of cross-border mobility experience.
• Solid understanding of international travel compliance including social security, immigration, legal and tax obligations.
• Experience creating SOPs and global process documentation.
• Experience transitioning projects into BAU with governance and controls.
• Proficient in business English.

HR Operations Process Expert for Mobility & Travel Compliance

We are looking for an experienced senior professional in the cross-border field to support the international travel compliance project. In your role, you will translate travel-compliance requirements into sustainable HR operational processes, create documentation, and lead the implementation within HR Operations, ensuring that teams can execute them globally after go-live.

The role is temporary, created to support the project for two years.

You will be joining the global HR experts in Hitachi Energy, who ensure that the processes are created and followed at the highest level. If you are passionate about cross-border mobility topics and looking to grow in a supportive and innovative company, we would love to hear from you.

How You'll Make an Impact:

• Design processes and create documentation including global process maps, SOPs, and work instructions, translating workstream outputs into operational processes, ensuring that operational processes are globally scalable.
• Define RACI and hand-off models across employees, managers, the Travel Compliance implementation partner, HR Operations teams, Payroll and Global Mobility.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure global operational readiness.
• Define the support model and escalation paths and develop process governance documentation.
• Develop training materials and knowledge articles.
• Ensure HR Operations teams are properly trained on the new processes and that there is full clarity on executionacross the impacted countries.
• Coordinate process validation workshops.
• Support pilot-country preparation, capture lessons learned, and drive process improvements during rollout.
• After the go-live of each project phase, own and maintain global documentation, training, and onboarding materials.
• Ensure continuous improvement, KPI monitoring and operational-effectiveness reviews.

Your Background:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in the cross-border mobility area.
• Solid understanding of international travel compliance including social security, immigration, legaland tax obligations.
• Significant experience in creating SOPs and global process documentation.
• Experience transitioning projects into BAU, setting controls and governance frameworks, and translating complex compliance requirements into scalable operational processes.
• Proficient in business English.
• Previous experience in implementing HR processes for business travel compliance.
