Job summary

HERE Technologies is seeking a Localization Manager to drive localization and translation initiatives across our global products and services. You will consult with teams, provide guidance on processes and tools, and coordinate with external localization suppliers to ensure high-quality, efficient internationalization.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of project management in software localization.
• Experience with localization service providers.
• Experience working with product development teams throughout the software life cycle.
• Proficiency with terminology management systems and localization tools.
• Phrase experience is a big plus.
• Terminology management in corporate or LSP settings is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Act as project manager for Documentation and Internationalization teams.
• Advise internal stakeholders on localization requirements.
• Plan and execute localization with external suppliers.
• Improve localization processes and tools across HERE.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams and service providers.
• Identify root causes and propose long-term improvements.
• Run localization-readiness reviews to ensure content is translation-ready.
• Maintain best practices for English writing for localization.
• Utilize TermWeb and contribute to the multilingual term database.
