Job summary

Toppan Digital Language is seeking a Localization Project Manager to lead and support relationships and project delivery for clients in regulated industries and governmental space. The role offers a hybrid work model with three days in the office and two days at home.

Ideal candidates have a university degree in translation or languages, German reading and writing proficiency at B1–B2, and 2+ years of project management experience.

Qualifications

• University degree in translation, languages, or equivalent experience.
• German language skills reading and writing at B1–B2 level.
• 2+ years of project management experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Independently lead and effectively manage the full lifecycle of translation projects from inception to completion.
• Determine resource requirements and optimal cost structure based on objectives and operational needs.
• Proactively identify and resolve potential issues and close gaps.
• Collaborate with Vendor Management, Operations and Business Development teams.
• Ensure project resources maintain high quality and professional standards.
• Mentor or train junior colleagues when needed.

Due to continued growth in our client base, we are seeking Localization Project Managers to lead and/or support relationship building and project delivery for clients operating in the regulated industries and governmental space such as financial services, legal, life sciences, healthcare, market insights. Working model: Hybrid (3 days in the office, 2 days at home)

ACCOUNTABILITIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Independently lead and effectively manage the full lifecycle of translation projects from inception to completion
• Determine resource requirements and optimal cost structure based on objectives and operational needs
• Proactively lead the identification of any potential issues and resolve and close identified gaps
• Work closely and diligently with Vendor Management, Operations and Business Development teams
• Ensure project resources maintain a high level of quality and professional and ethical standards
• Participate in mentoring or training of junior colleagues

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

• University degree in relevant discipline (translation, languages) or equivalent experience
• Good German language skills, particularly in reading and writing (B1-B2 level)
• 2+ years of project management experience preferred
