Job summary

GN Group is seeking an IT Operations Specialist - Network to help ensure the performance, availability, and security of GN’s global IT infrastructure. You will join Global IT Operations and work on monitoring, incident management, and security compliance across on‑prem and cloud environments.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in IT network operations, experience with CISCO/ Fortinet, and familiarity with monitoring tools like SolarWinds.

Qualifications

Bring 5 years of experience in IT network operations or a similar technical role (e.g., CISCO, Cato, Aviatrix, Fortinet).
Proficient in IT service management practices such as incident, problem, and request management.
Familiar with monitoring tools and reporting solutions (e.g., SolarWinds).
Understand cybersecurity concepts and compliance frameworks (e.g., ISO 27001).
Clear communication and collaboration across Group IT functions.

Responsibilities

Monitor network availability and performance across LAN/WAN, Wi-Fi, internet connectivity, and local network equipment.
Investigate network issues and restore services in coordination with local IT and external providers.
Administer and troubleshoot Check Point firewalls and VPN-related issues.
Operate and support secure connectivity for on-premises and cloud solutions.
Maintain accurate technical documentation and knowledge articles.
Contribute to network infrastructure optimization initiatives across Group IT.
