Job summary

DS Smith in Krakow is seeking an IT Asset Management Manager to lead all aspects of IT asset lifecycle across the enterprise, from procurement to disposal, with a focus on compliance, cost control and accurate reporting. You will build governance, tooling, and cross-functional partnerships to optimize hardware, software, cloud entitlements, and related assets.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in IT Asset Management and governance.
• Understanding of core ITIL processes.
• Experience in multinational environments with distributed teams and complex licensing.
• Knowledge of HAM, SAM, ITAM best practices and software licensing.
• Hands-on ITAM tools such as ServiceNow ITAM/SAM and Flexera.
• Vendor management, audits and renewals experience.
• Regulatory/compliance and data sanitization awareness.
• Fluent in English.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement and continuously improve global ITAM strategy and standards.
• Provide leadership, planning and execution of ITAM processes.
• Manage all IT asset lifecycle from purchase to disposal.
• Collaborate with IT service providers to optimize assets and services.
• Lead software licensing and cloud entitlement management and renewals.
• Establish and report ITAM KPIs to senior stakeholders.
• Support budgeting and forecasting for hardware and software spend.
• Lead, mentor and grow a distributed ITAM team.
• Manage ITAM tooling integrations and vendor relationships.
• Maintain Asset Management Database in Service Now.
• Liaise with internal stakeholders and external auditors.
• Drive sustainable disposal and data sanitation practices.
