Job summary

Capital.com is seeking an IT Asset Management leader to turn a fragmented setup into a single trusted source of asset and spend data. You will own the IT asset register across software, SaaS, on‑premise, and hardware, and build automation atop it.

You will lead a small multidisciplinary team, work with Finance, Security and IT Operations, and deliver services that other functions rely on. This role combines strategy with hands-on data platform work.

Qualifications

• Proven experience building lightweight process systems in regulated environments.
• Deliver against a strategy and roadmap with independent judgment.
• Deep experience with large data sets and understanding data lineage.

Responsibilities

• Lead the IT Asset Management function and execute against VP goals.
• Deliver data and services to other functions, building and running services.
• Own the IT asset register across software, SaaS, on‑premise, and hardware.
• Operate a trusted data source on assets and spend; develop the data platform.
• Keep data controls lightweight and non-duplicated for trusted decision making.
• Lead asset-based budgeting, reporting, and finance data services.
• Partner with Vendor Management and Security to optimise procurement and detect Shadow IT.
• Integrate with Atlassian suite and the asset data platform.
• Integrate purchased solutions to standards and manage offboarding.
• Line-manage and develop the team.
