Job summary

Moderna Therapeutics Warsaw is seeking an experienced in-house counsel to provide hands-on legal support across a broad biotech contracting landscape. You will collaborate with senior lawyers and cross‑functional teams spanning commercial, CMC, procurement, manufacturing, quality and supply chain.

The role emphasizes pragmatic, risk‑based advice, complex contract drafting and global coordination, with opportunities to leverage Generative AI to streamline workflows in a fast-paced biotech

Qualifications

• Law degree and full qualification to practice.
• 6+ years of in-house and/or law firm experience in biotech/pharma contracting.
• Strong drafting and negotiating skills across complex contracts.

Responsibilities

• Provide legal and operational support across commercial, CMC, procurement and contracting matters.
• Act as escalation point for buy-side contract matters, including procurement, supplier, manufacturing, quality and supply chain negotiations.
• Support sell-side, commercial and private market contract escalations with pragmatic, business-focused solutions.
• Draft, review and negotiate complex contracts for Moderna’s biotechnology operations.
• Review promotional materials to ensure alignment with legal and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enable efficient execution and consistent processes.
