Job summary

UL LLC is seeking a Process Owner for Calibration, Measurement Test Equipment, and Procurement to lead lifecycle management across the global laboratory network. The role drives reliability, compliance, and efficiency, reporting to the Director of Lab Operational Excellence.

This hybrid position requires three days per week in major UL locations worldwide, with a strong focus on data-driven KPIs. The role also oversees governance of equipment documentation, supplier qualification, and cross-site

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years calibration/measurement test equipment management experience.
• Experience across multiple sites or regions.
• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or equivalent.
• ISO 17025 knowledge is a plus.
• Fluent in English.

Responsibilities

• Serve as global owner of calibration and measurement equipment processes across all laboratories.
• Define and harmonize calibration scheduling, traceability, equipment qualification, maintenance and procurement workflows.
• Ensure documentation and workflows are consistent across sites and aligned with accreditation standards.
• Collaborate with Technical Competence Centers to incorporate decisions into SOPs.
• Develop and implement the Laboratory Playbook and equipment governance.
• Define procurement standards and collaborate with regional/global teams for compliant sourcing.
• Oversee onboarding, testing, and documentation of new equipment.
• Monitor KPIs like calibration compliance, downtime, and procurement lead times.
