Job summary

nVent is seeking a hands-on Lab Equipment Engineer in Poland to lead lab expansion and calibration programs, directing technicians and developing SOPs and test protocols to validate nVent products against relevant standards.

You will analyze requirements, design tests, prepare data, and troubleshoot equipment issues, ensuring data integrity and regulatory compliance through collaboration with engineering teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (4+ years) in a similar role; master’s degree preferred.
• Hands-on lab work with equipment programming and calibration.
• Strong data analysis, troubleshooting, and documentation skills.
• Fluent in English and Polish; able to communicate with internal stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning and execution of large lab expansion and remodeling projects.
• Direct activities of lab technicians and interns to increase efficiency.
• Own lab equipment purchasing, installation, and calibration program.
• Develop and maintain SOPs and test protocols for product testing.
• Involve in requirement analysis, test design, data prep, and test execution.
• Assist with diagnosing test equipment failures and maintain data accuracy.
• Stay up-to-date with engineering/testing standards and regulatory requirements.
• Lead risk identification and management for lab activities.
• Support lab budgeting and capital expenditure approvals.
