Global Automotive Product Engineer - End-to-End NPI

Job summary

Jit Team is seeking a Product Engineer to drive automotive product development from concept to production. You will coordinate with engineering, manufacturing, and customers to ensure robust processes and successful implementation of engineering changes.

Qualifications

• 4 years’ experience in automotive product engineering department or 7 years’ experience in automotive production engineering department.
• Bachelor and/or Diploma in automotive, plastics engineering, mechanical engineering or 7 years’ experience in automotive production engineering.
• Knowledge of customer requirements and company manufacturing product and processes.
• Fluent in English; Polish and German are a plus but not required.
• FMEA training or 4-year experience in automotive production sector in engineering department.
• Working knowledge of GD&T, DFM, DFA, CAE/FEA, CAD, FMEA, DVP&R.
• Cradle to Grave project experience including process and tool maturation and program launch.
• Conversant with major CAD systems applicable to automotive design.
• Good verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
• Adaptability in the location of work including business travel.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and develop changes to the product initiated by the customer or design team.
• Plan, organize, and conduct activities to achieve objectives across Engineering Europe and the company.
• Report deviations from standards and take corrective actions.
• Support performance of production KPIs and tool readiness.
• Act as Deputy to Senior/Lead Engineer (ENP419).
• Ensure designs support DFA/DFM, QFD, and PPAP processes.
• Support tool timing and milestones with development and customers.
• Assist tool trials, sign-offs, and tool shipments to manufacturing sites.
